Continuing Education is one of the missions of the I-Day Committee and the insurance industry as a whole.   In 2002, the Committee instituted a Scholarship Fund.  Two scholarships are awarded to children or grandchildren of a current or deceased member of one of the three founding organizations of Syracuse I-Day.  The three organizations are:

  • The Independent Insurance Agents Association of CNY, Inc.
  • Syracuse Chapter of the CPCU Society
  • Syracuse Insurance Professionals

Based on academic achievement and community service guidelines, outlined in the eligibility requirements, two scholarships of up to $2,000 are awarded to students chosen by the committee after review of all submissions.

Deadline:  Postmarked by a 2012 date to be determined
