Continuing Education is one
of the missions of the I-Day Committee and the insurance industry as a whole.
In 2002, the Committee instituted a Scholarship Fund. Two
scholarships are awarded to children or grandchildren of a current or deceased
member of one of the three founding organizations of Syracuse I-Day. The
three organizations are:
The Independent Insurance Agents Association of CNY, Inc.
Syracuse Chapter of the CPCU Society
Syracuse Insurance Professionals
Based on academic achievement
and community service guidelines, outlined in the eligibility
requirements, two scholarships of up to $2,000 are awarded to
students chosen by the committee after review of all submissions.
